Fresh, cut strawberries were used in the photo above, but don’t let that limit your creation. What’s in season? You can really make things interesting with multiple different fruits mixed together, like strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries! You may also use frozen fruit, but be sure to check the ingredients. There can be added sugar and syrup. Stay away from canned fruit whenever possible.
If the fruit alone doesn’t make it sweet enough for you, try adding a little raw, pure, local honey. Spice it up with a little cinnamon, or even some plain oats.
