Potential Sleep Strategies for Space Flight

The sleep metrics of 351 individuals were analyzed. Each values was measured prior to the start of Conquering Insomnia (now known as RESTED), and again at the end of the six week program.

• The average number of minutes to fall asleep reduced by 60.5%.
• The average amount of total sleep per night increased by 1.6 hours, or 1 hour and 36 minutes.
• The average Epworth Sleepiness Scale value decreased by 3.
